Okinawan spinach (Gynura bicolor) - Live Plant

Okinawan spinach is a perennial leafy green that is as easy to grow as it is to eat. It will grow just about anywhere and provide you reliable greens year round. It's also a good choice to grow for ornamental purposes as well, it grows tall green foliage that's leaves underside are a dark purple color. It can spread easily, so keep that in mind when choosing a location. If our friends in the cooler climates desire to harvest this superfood, you can grow it as an annual, keeping cuttings growing indoors until spring, or simply grow it in pots on a patio and bring inside during cooler temps., or just grow it indoors at your home.

Hardiness zones: 8b-11 or wherever you are when grown patio/indoors or as an annual.

If it's just a broken branch or even part of a stem - just let it grow, take care of your plant and it will respond to your love.

Shipping Long Distances - Orders that are shipped to the western US can often take 4 to 6 business days for transport, including the delay of agricultural inspections in Arizona, California & Texas. Please note that the quality of tender young plants is more affected by the extra length of stress inside shipping boxes. Extra care is taken during packaging to ensure quick recovery after unboxing.
