It was time to ditch the grass & create a homegrown paradise! We are so pleased with the way this landscape overhaul came out! 

We came up with maximum diversity in the homeowner's plant list & after the approval of our drawing/plans, we got started: removing the previous turf, then layering compost & decomposed hard-wood mulch to create a healthy foundation for the new landscape plants. In addition to the raised beds we installed, we also created a dog run, a slate patio & paths throughout. Plus, we installed a living wall of bamboo to give some privacy & to protect some of the cold-sensitive plants. This property is now a neighborhood landmark that will be full of wonder & smiles!  If you want our opinion?... It looks infinitely more interesting than the boring grassy lots that line the remainder of the street.
