Red Cranberry Hibiscus, False Roselle, African Rosemallow (Hibiscus acetosella) - Live Plant

Ships in a 4" pot

Tall upright perennial shrub with brightly colored edible leaves that are crisp and have a slightly tart-sweet lemony or some say cranberry flavor. One plant can grow into a nice edible bush that is 3 feet wide if pruned. The Cranberry Hibiscus is generally low maintenance, the biggest need is water as it does not like to be dry for long. This is a must have for your salads or just nibbling in the garden! Keep it in a large enough pot to avoid binding the roots and bring a bit of edible, tropical paradise to your home or office...especially for our friends in the cooler climates! Definitely a beautiful plant and great conversation piece no home should be without!

Unfortunately, it's past our control beyond our packing house.
In cases of serious box damage, please contact UPS within 30 days to start a claim.
If it's just a broken branch or even part of a stem - just let it grow, take care of your plant and it will respond to your love.

Shipping Long Distances - Orders that are shipped to the western US can often take 4 to 6 business days for transport, including the delay of agricultural inspections in Arizona, California & Texas. Please note that the quality of tender young plants is more affected by the extra length of stress inside shipping boxes. Extra care is taken during packaging to ensure quick recovery after unboxing.
